Jocelene has a particular interest in working with families going through separation, attachment and parenting issues, relationship difficulties and domestic violence. She works from a holistic perspective and adapts her therapy to meet individual client needs, drawing from a number of different evidence-based therapies including Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Person-Centred, and Attachment theory. The foundation of her work is based on trauma informed care and practice.

Jocelene is a Registered Psychologist with qualifications including, a Bachelor of Applied Social Science (Counselling), Graduate Diploma in Psychology, Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology (Honours), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Forensic Behavioural Science.

Jocelene has experience working with individuals who have experienced complex trauma and problematic upbringings, and therefore present with complex conditioning such as personality disorder traits or problematic behaviours. She has worked in private practice, as well as alongside Community Corrections providing individual treatment to a variety of presentations.

Jocelene can provide independent report writing and psychological assessments, psychological evaluations, reports, and risk assessments for cases proceeding through the Department of Child Safety, Family Court, Criminal Court, Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal, and Weapons Licencing.
